Long Term Care

Our Long Term Care residents live with us when they require some degree of nursing care and observation. Twenty-four hour nursing care is the step up from Assisted Living. Our certified nurse aides provide assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). The Long Term Care experience is focused on community and includes a full schedule of optional activities run by two full-time Activities personnel. See our activities calendar for our wide variety of offerings. We try very hard to make Brookhaven a family atmosphere that residents can call their home.

In addition, we offer religious services and an in-house beauty salon/barber shop with wonderful service and prices. We offer an individualized dining experience that focuses on meeting the nutritional needs of each resident in either assisted, communal or private dining. Every room has complimentary Cable TV on a large, flat panel TV. Our inner courtyard offers a beautiful oasis experience which enables residents to enjoy the outdoors in a secure environment. Our home is located next door to Baylor Carrollton Medical Center – a perfect location should there be a need to get to a hospital quickly. We offer dentistry, podiatry, audiology, wound care, vision care and massage therapy services right here in the facility. We have a Wanderguard system for our resident's security. And we allow residents to smoke in our inner courtyard during four supervised sessions each day.
