Rehabilitation

Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center offers physical, occupational and speech therapy to meet the needs of residents with orthopedic, neurological and other diagnoses. In addition to physical strength, range of motion, balance and activities of daily living, our team of therapists will address cognitive, memory, social and emotional needs that derive from injury or illness.
We provide rehabilitation services through a comprehensive plan of care established by our medical team that maximizes each resident's potential for greater independence.

Our staff at Brookhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has access to resources for up to date procedures in the therapy industry. The knowledgeable team of therapists specializes in many specific areas including the treatment of Parkinson's, stroke rehabilitation, orthopedic specific conditions, sensory integration programs, e-stim modalities and cardiac rehab. The shared knowledge and resources of our staff assures a rehabilitation plan that is specific to the needs of each of our residents.

To ensure more comprehensive results, our residents benefit from:

• Weekly physician consults for rehabilitation
• Bi-weekly consultations between nurse practitioners and therapists
